What is the cut rule for the 2025 John Deere Classic?
Like the rest of the PGA Tour events, the John Deere has a cut to the low 65 golfers and ties after 36 holes. The tournament started with 156 golfers. A year ago, the cut came in at 5 under. There’s a lot of golf to go but after 18 holes, there were 84 golfers at 2 under after 18 holes. Datagolf, as of Thursday, gives 4 under a 39 percent chance to be the cutline come Friday evening.
Which golfers have work to do Friday to make the cut?
Local favorite Zach Johnson (2 under) as well as Luke Clanton (1 under), Kevin Kisner (even), amateur Jackson Koivun (even), Tom Kim (1 over), Lucas Glover (1 over) and Jason Day (3 over) are some names to monitor throughout the day Friday.
