James sinks ace at Ben Hawes
Ray James hit a hole-in-one on Wednesday at Ben Hawes Golf Course.
James carded the ace on No. 3 from 125 yards, using a pitching wedge.
Witnessing the feat were Dave Beitler, Tommy Vessels and Bryan Hedges.

Owensboro’s Luke Estes shot a 79 to finish in third place but capture the overall division title following the GO Junior Golf Northern Series Championship on Tuesday at Owensboro Country Club.
Other boys’ division tour champions included Henderson’s Mason Ranes (13-15 Championship); Owensboro’s Paxton Divine (13-15); Rockport’s Bennett Neighbors (11-12); Hartford’s Greyson Phillips (9-10); and Owensboro’s J.P. Cousins (8-under).
Girls’ tour champions were Owensboro’s Macy Roberts (16-18 Championship); Clarkson’s Ellington Cox (13-15 Championship); Owensboro’s Catherine Ray (13-15); Owensboro’s Ayla Roberts (11-12); Central City’s Ainsley Morris (9-10); and Slaughters’ Stella Johnston (8-under).
