Andrew Tate in advanced talks to fight for Misfits Boxing amid mounting legal charges

Andrew Tate, the former kickboxer turned controversial influencer, is in advanced talks to compete for Misfits Boxing in a heavyweight boxing match amid his numerous legal battles before the end of the year, sources confirmed to Uncrowned's Ariel Helwani.

An official announcement regarding Tate's participation could come as soon as this Saturday's Misfits event in Manchester, England, sources told Helwani.

Misfits Boxing is a fight promotion co-founded by British content creator KSI that specializes in influencer boxing and crossover matches, and has featured the likes of Logan Paul and Tommy Fury.

Tate, 38, and his younger brother, Tristan, currently face a myriad of criminal and civil charges in multiple countries alleging physical and sexual abuse of women.

The brothers were arrested in Romania in 2022 on charges that include human trafficking, money laundering and sexual intercourse with a minor, and officially indicted last year on accusations that they allegedly participated in a criminal syndicate that sexually exploited women.

In May, the U.K. Crown Prosecution Service brought down a multitude of additional charges on the Tate brothers related to multiple women; among the charges levied at Andrew include rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain.

A London-based civil trial for the Tates is due to begin in June 2026.

The brothers are additionally under U.S. criminal investigation in Florida.

Andrew and Tristan Tate have denied all accusations against them.

The elder Tate is a former kickboxer and mixed martial artist who has risen to notoriety in recent years as a self-proclaimed "misogynist influencer."

Tate last fought in a December 2020 kickboxing bout in Romania.
