Photos: U.S. team hits Bethpage Black for 18-hole Monday practice round for Ryder Cup
The U.S. team is on the golf course Monday for it’s first official practice round ahead of the 2025 Ryder Cup.
The 12-man American squad led by captain Keegan Bradley is playing a full 18-hole pratice round on the Black course in preparation. The Europeans will play their first official 18-hole practice round Tuesday afternoon but it’s the U.S. team that got the first glimpse during the first official day of the week.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas and the rest of the squad sporting the Red, White and Blue will play nine-hole practice rounds Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week but Monday is the only day for an 18-holer.
Both teams are on site but the Europeans won’t play a practice round until Tuesday. Later Monday, U.S. captain Keegan Bradley and European captain Luke Donald will hold a news conference. It should be fairly quiet on the grounds at Bethpage Monday as fans aren’t allowed on the property till Tuesday. Then the slow build begins. Check out some photos from Monday:
