Trinity Rodman's New Outfit Catches Attention On Monday
Trinity Rodman is leading the Washington Spirit into the NWSL playoffs. Ahead of their match against Monterrey in the CONCACAF Champions League, her outfit caught the attention of fans.
Rodman shared her look on Instagram, and many fans went wild over her letterman jacket and baggy jeans. The Washington Spirit forward is set to face the Mexican side in the fifth round of the CONCACAF Champions League.
The game will take place at Audi Field on Wednesday, October 15. Since returning from the back injury she suffered in April—shortly after scoring against Brazil in a friendly—Rodman has been clutch in game-deciding moments.
In her first game back, she came off the bench against the Portland Thorns and sealed the win with a rocket to the back of the net.
This season, Rodman has played 15 games for the Spirit, scoring 5 goals and adding 2 assists.
Trinity Rodman Continues to Throw Fits and Wow Fans
Trinity Rodman is active in two sports: soccer and tennis. While neither sport is known for bold fashion choices and both have strict dress codes for matches, Rodman has been redefining style on both ends.
She first surprised tennis fans by wearing a personalized shirt of Ben Shelton during the Mubadala City Open in July.
Later, in August, she turned heads again by wearing personalized jeans on Day 1 of the US Open—once more adding a little of Shelton’s touch.
Trinity has already expressed her support for her boyfriend Ben Shelton multiple times, and it didn’t go unnoticed by him or the fans at the US Open.
“My girlfriend took the red-eye from California last night to be here.”
