The only way Kyrgios will play at Australian Open 2026 is if he receives a wildcard into the main draw.
Currently, he is yet to receive one, but it is likely Australian Open organisers will grant him one due to his ability to create publicity.
It is likely he will be granted one if his body holds up through the Brisbane International, which commences January 4.

After defeating Aryna Sabalenka in Battle of the Sexes, Kyrgios has been given a wildcard into the Brisbane International – where he will play in the main draw on January 4.
His opponent will likely be finalised the day before.
