Rafael Fiziev vs. Mauricio Ruffy: UFC 325 odds, what to know

Rafael Fiziev and Mauricio Ruffy are two of the more dynamic strikers in the UFC’s lightweight division. They will clash in a three-round bout at UFC 325 in Sydney.

Rafael Fiziev vs. Mauricio Ruffy preview

Fiziev (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) returned to the win column in his last fight, marking the end of a three-fight skid. The unanimous decision win over Ignacio Bahamondes in June came after losses against Mateusz Gamrot and Justin Gaethje (twice). Both fights against Gaethje went the distance and earned Fight of the Night awards. Prior to that stretch, Fiziev built a six-fight winning streak.

Ruffy (12-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) suffered his first loss in the UFC when he faced Benoit Saint-Denis in September, losing by second-round submission. Prior to that setback, Ruffy won his first three UFC appearances, earning bonuses for first-round finishes of Jamie Mullarkey and King Green, which was MMA Junkie’s 2025 Knockout of the Year.
