Wild video: Amateur breaks arm during TKO sequence, doesn't realize
Adrenaline is powerful, and amateur fighter Drew Zima now knows that perhaps more than he ever wanted to.
Back at Combat Night Tallahassee on Valentine's Day, Zima broke his arm mid-finishing flurry of punches against Logan Diedrich – but he didn't even realize it until he began celebrating the TKO victory.
Zima had his opponent backed into the fence, unloading furious hooks, attempting to finish the fight. A left hook snapped his forearm, but he kept swinging with both hands. A head kick was added into the mix as well, and he then connected with a few more punches, including some with the broken left arm, before the referee stepped in to stop the fight.
Zima let out a victorious yell as he walked to the center of the cage. He lifted his right arm up, pointing one finger to the sky. He then raised his left arm, which folded over. It was then that realization set in.
Zima was obviously shocked and immediately grabbed his wrist once he understood what happened. He dropped to the canvas and spat his mouthpiece out while holding his arm.
A person recording the moment asked Zima what had happened, which added another layer of insanity to the moment.
"Yo, what happened?" the cameraman asked.
"My arm is broken!" Zima responded.
"You alright?" the cameraman replied.
Bruh.
