Conor McGregor reveals demands: '$100 million to fight at the White House'
Despite having not stepped foot inside the octagon since July 2021, former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is still the sports' biggest star.
When the fight promotion hosts an event on the White House lawn next year, they'd like to have their biggest draw on the fight card. UFC CEO Dana White promised the event will feature the best fight card in the promotion's history and released renderings of what the production will look like. He also said he'd like McGregor to headline.
Last week, McGregor appeared on FOX & Friends announcing that he'd be returning at the historic event. On Thursday, he revealed his demands in a social media post, and they're staggering.
"The Champ Champ returns! Just over 8 months to UFC White House," McGregor wrote on instagram alongside a video of him hitting pads. "I look forward to seeing my body shape up.My shot selection refining. My masterpiece to be painted."
McGregor has been out of action since breaking his leg in a trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. He's eager to return.

"I have so much aggression built up that I must release. I will throw harder and more venomous than I have ever thrown before. have been punching way incredibly harder in my most recent preparative efforts and I delight in the thought of doing it live again," he wrote. "My shots whistle through the air like rockets!"
McGregor then revealed his demands to fight at the White House event. "$ 100 million to fight at the White House along with 100 U.S “Golden Visas” for myself and family and friends," he said.
"I look very forward to entertaining the fighting world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!"
