MASON, OH − The Cincinnati Open has grown into a two-week affair with an expanded 96-player field.
After two days of qualifying rounds, the main draw is slated to begin Aug. 7 from the Lindner Family Tennis Center. Wednesday features a schedule-stuffing 27 matches from the opening rounds of ATP and WTA main draw play.
On Center Court, 45-year-old Venus Williams, a 7-time Grand Slam champion, will face Spain’s Jessica Bouzas Maneiro. In the night session, Mason native Peyton Stearns will bid for her first main draw victory at her hometown tournament when she faces Yafan Wang.
