Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis: Midweek support card to be headlined by 2024 U.S. Olympian

A four-fight card will kick off one of the biggest fight weeks of 2025. Most Valuable Promotions announced Thursday that U.S. Olympian Jahmal Harvey would headline a show from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the lead-up to the Nov. 14 Netflix boxing match between Jake Paul and Gervonta "Tank" Davis.

The "MVP Showcase 2" card will accompany the Paul vs. Davis public workouts and be available to watch for free on the Netflix Sports and MVP YouTube channels from 6 p.m. ET.

Harvey (1-0, 1 KO), who was signed by Paul's MVP this past August following his defeat in the quarter finals of the 2024 Paris Olympics, is considered one of the top prospects in world boxing. It was considered a major coup for MVP to land the signing of Harvey, who Paul believes could eventually become one of the faces of his promotional efforts.

Harvey, 22, stopped Marcelo Del Aguila in the opening round in his August debut and will face Colombia's Kevin Cervantes (5-0, 5 KOs) in his second professional contest over six rounds at super featherweight. Four of Cervantes' five wins to date have come in his native Colombia, with the latest one in Mexico. All five have been against opponents with unflattering records.

Nazarena Romero (14-1-2, 8 KOs) will rematch Mayerlin Rivas (17-6-3, 11 KOs) in an eight-round super bantamweight matchup on the card. Argentina's Romero challenged Venezuela's Rivas for the WBA title in June 2023, but the bout ended in a technical split draw after five rounds because Romero could not continue due to an accidental clash of heads.

Rounding out the show, unbeaten lightweight prospect Kaipo Gallegos (10-0-1, 8 KOs) clashes with Mexico's Cristian Perez Hernandez (12-3-1, 7 KOs) over eight rounds, and Keno Marley, a 2024 Olympian for Brazil, will make his professional debut against Diarra Davis Jr. (2-1, 1 KO) in a four-round cruiserweight bout.
