LPGA hires former LIV executive Monica Fee as new sales chief
LPGA commissioner Craig Kessler has made his first big hire. Monica Fee, former senior vice president and head of global partnerships at LIV Golf, will be the LPGA’s new Chief Sales and Partnerships Officer, the tour has announced. Fee will begin work Jan. 5, 2026, and will report directly to Kessler.
The news comes one week after the LPGA announced its first partnership with Golf Saudi in the new Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek, a co-sanctioned event with the Ladies European Tour that features a $ 4 million purse and 120-player field in Las Vegas.
Fee will oversee the tour’s sales and partnership strategy, driving revenue through official marketing partnerships, tournament title sponsorships and other commercial assets.
“Monica brings incredible energy, a ton of passion for golf and leading teams, and a reputation for delivering results,” said Kessler in a release. “As we continue to elevate the LPGA’s commercial momentum and global reach, her vision and track record make her the ideal leader to build meaningful partnerships and unlock new growth for the organization.”
Prior to her time at LIV, Fee spent 15 years in sales at CAA Sports and has been recognized by Adweek as one of “The Most Powerful Women in Sports” and in Broadcasting & Cable’s “Women in the Game.” Fee was hired by the LIV Golf Investments in December 2021 and helped launch the league, which has notoriously hemorrhaged massive amounts of money for years.
“The LPGA is at an extraordinary moment in its history — one defined by momentum, purpose and global opportunity,” Fee said in a release. “I’m excited to help shape its next chapter by building partnerships that elevate women’s golf and connect the LPGA’s values with leading brands around the world.”
