Fiorot (12-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) is coming off a failed title opportunity against Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 315 in May. It was the first loss for Fiorot since her first professional bout in 2018. Jasudavicius brings a five-fight winning streak into this matchup. This is her third appearance of the year, following wins over Mayra Bueno Silva and Jessica Andrade.

Filling out the main card is a women’s flyweight affair between top-ranked fighters, Manon Fiorot and Jasmine Jasudavicius.

Fiorot is coming off her first loss in the octagon, where she fell short trying to take Valentina Shevchenko’s title.

The French fighter is champing at the bit to bounce back, and appears to be working in Montreal at Tristar Gym ahead of this fight. Facing Fiorot is Jasudavicius, a local Canadian contender and one of the few girls in the division who can offer some size parity.

I’ve slowly become a fan of Jasudavicius and would love to see her get the win here. However, I suspect that the larger octagon will heavily favor Fiorot and her fleet-of-foot nature from a stylistic perspective.
