Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira, will look to blast his way back into the win column at the expense of 155-pound striking sensation, Rafael Fiziev, when they collide atop the upcoming UFC Rio mixed martial arts (MMA) event, recently made official for Sat., Oct. 11, 2025 inside Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Now they have an official poster.

Oliveira (35-11, 1 NC) is looking to rebound from his knockout loss to Ilia Topuria as part of the UFC 317 fight card last June in Las Vegas. Despite his performance, “Do Bronx” remains in the No. 3 slot in the official lightweight rankings. That’s seven spots above the No. 10-ranked Fiziev (13-4), who picked up a decision victory over Ignacio Bahamondes last June on ABC.

UFC Rio will also feature the Octagon debut of ADCC gold medalist Beatriz Mesquita, who collides with “Russian Ronda” Irina Alekseeva at bantamweight. In addition, a pair of heavyweight bouts pitting Vitor Petrino vs. Thomas Petersen and Jhonata Diniz vs. Mario Pinto were also made official.
