The pound is down 0.6 percent against the euro this morning and is currently trading around €1.169. GBP/EUR fell as many MPs remain generally unimpressed with the EU’s concessions on the Irish backstop, which has further weakened the likelihood of Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit deal passing through Parliament today.
