Scottish Open tee times: How to watch Round 1, Scottie Scheffler's return

The PGA Tour takes its talents to Scotland as the Scottish Open begins Thursday morning.

From July 10-013, the four-day tournament will take place in North Berwick, Scotland, at The Renaissance Club for the seventh straight year. The 156-player field holds eight of the top 10 golfers on the Official Golf World Rankings are in the field this weekend and changes in the FedEx Cup standings are inevitable.

The world's No. 1 golfer, Scottie Scheffler returns to the PGA Tour after tying for sixth place in the Travelers Championship. The Memorial Tournament was Scheffler's last win. Rory McIlroy joins Scheffler in North Berwick as he looks to add on to his great PGA Tour year. McIlroy won The Players Championship and the Masters Tournament to complete his golf grand slam.

With a $ 9,000,000 purse and 500 FedEx Cup points on the line, the Scottish Open will be one to watch. The first coverage begins at 3:15 AM ET.

Who won the last Scottish Open?

Robert MacIntyre won the 2024 Gensis Scottish Open. The Scottish native finished 18 under par, beating second place by 1 stroke. MacIntyre returns to defend his homeland championship. He is currently ranked 14 on the Official World Golf Rankings.

Scheffler is the favored to win the Genesis Scottish Open at +500, according to BetMGM. The world's No. 1 has three wins in 2025 and still sits at the top of the FedEx Cup standings. McIlroy also has three wins on the season and the world's No. 2 has the second-best odds of all players with a +1000 to win the Scottish Open. Other odds include reigning champion MacIntyre at +2200 and Tommy Fleetwood at +2000 trying to get his first PGA Tour win in his career.
