UFC 321 gets late heavyweight addition in Abu Dhabi
Valter Walker has been rebooked after his UFC Fight Night 261 bout that was canceled.
Walker (14-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) was scheduled to face Mohammed Usman this past Saturday at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro but the bout was scrapped after Usman withdrew.
Now Walker will take on Louie Sutherland (10-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) two weeks later at UFC 321 next Saturday, Oct. 25 from Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi (pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+). Walker confirmed the news on social media after an initial report from Laerte Viana.
Walker has won three straight fights, with all his victories coming by heel-hook submission. Meanwhile, Sutherland is on a four-fight winning streak. He was scheduled to make his octagon debut against Justin Tafa at UFC Fight Night 260 last month, but that bout was canceled after Tafa pulled out due to illness.
