UFC Fight Night 260 news: Oban Elliott out less than 48 hours from event
UFC Fight Night 260 will proceed with one fewer bout on the lineup.
Just days before the event, Oban Elliott has been removed from Saturday's event at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia (ESPN+). UFC officially announced the news Thursday evening. A light heavyweight matchup between Dominick Reyes and Carlos Ulberg headlines the event. In the co-feature, Australia's Jimmy Crute faces Ivan Erslan.
Elliott (12-3 MMA, 3-1 UFC) was forced out due to illness, scrapping his welterweight bout against Australia's Jonathan Micallef. The promotion will not seek a replacement opponent on such short notice. As a result, the event will proceed with 14 fights.
UFC Fight Night 260 broadcasts live on ESPN+ Saturday, starting at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT). The main card begins at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT).
With the changes, the UFC Fight Night 260 lineup includes:
