UFC Fight Night 266 video: 4 finishes with wild Jakub Wiklacz moment
The UFC raised its post-fight bonus checks to $ 100,000 this year and also added automatic $ 25,000 bonuses for finishers who don’t get one of the four big awards.
So far, the promotion hasn’t had to stress too much about those finish bonuses. In three events in 2026, there have been just 15 stoppages – about a 40 percent clip. That’s not down significantly compared to normal, but it’s down enough to notice.
At UFC Fight Night 266 on Saturday at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, there were four finishes – and it was just one second away from being only three. That result was the most interesting of the stoppages and is worth another look. Check out Jakub Wiklacz (18-3-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and his submission of Muin Gafurov (20-7 MMA, 2-3 UFC) with just a second left – a $ 100,000 difference-maker for Wiklacz.
Check out Wiklacz’s bonus-winning finish, as well as the three others, above.
