What's different about the PGA Tour's 2025 FedEx Fall schedule and why no Masters invites

The PGA Tour’s FedEx Fall is back, and once again there are seven events on the slate. But there are some significant differences for the competitors this time around.

What’s not new is a little time off between the end of the Tour Championship and the first Fall tournament. The 2025 FedEx Cup finale was two Sundays ago in Atlanta. Now it’s on to Napa.

What are the FedEx Fall tournaments for the PGA Tour?

Dates Tournaments Location
Sept. 11-14 Procore Championship Silverado Resort, Napa
Oct. 2-5 Sanderson Farms Championship Country Club of Jackson
Oct. 9-12 Baycurrent Classic Yokohama Country Club, Japan
Oct. 23-26 Bank of Utah Championship Black Desert Resort, Utah
Nov. 6-9 World Wide Technology Championship El Cardonal at Diamante, Mexico
Nov. 13-16 Butterfield Bermuda Championship Port Royal Golf Course, Bermuda
Nov. 20-23 The RSM Classic Sea Island Golf Club

What is unique about the Procore Championship in 2025?

The annual stop in Napa, California, is where 10 of the 12 American members of the Ryder Cup are gathering for some final prep and team bonding. LIV’s Bryson DeChambeau isn’t there for obvious reasons. Xander Schauffele is the other U.S. player not on the tee sheet. Still, this Ryder Cup-heavy vibe will give this tournament some added juice.

What other notables are in the Procore field?

Alongside the Ryder Cuppers will be Akshay Bhatia, Ben An, Max Homa, Tom Kim, Maverick McNealy, Kieth Mitchell, Sahith Theegala and Gary Woodland.

No more Masters invites for Fall PGA Tour winners

The fall events will allow for opportunities for those golfers looking to secure playing privileges. According to the PGA Tour:

FedExCup Fall consists of eight official PGA Tour events which will provide players an opportunity to lock up or improve their positions in priority ranking and secure additional playing opportunities for the 2026 FedEx Cup Season, which begins at The Sentry in January.

Furthermore, points can only be earned by players ranked 51st or lower.

But, the Masters Tournament recently announced it will no longer issue invitations to winners of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Fall Series as part of a joint venture with the Royal and Ancient Golf Club to expand eligibility to winners of selected national opens
