The situation for Jamahal Hill got more dire at UFC on ABC 8 when Khalil Rountree Jr. handed him a third consecutive loss.

After claiming the light heavyweight title in January 2023 then vacating it that same year due to injury, Hill (12-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) has struggled to rediscover his form. The latest result saw him drop a unanimous decision to Rountree Jr. (14-6 MMA, 10-6 UFC) at Baku Crystal Hall in Azerbaijan, and now some serious questions must be faced.

Despite his defeats coming against the elite in Rountree Jr., Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira, the position of Hill is not desirable going forward.
