Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon out at least 4-to-6 weeks due to hamstring strain
The Denver Nuggets will be without one of their best players for at least a month. Forward Aaron Gordon is reportedly dealing with a hamstring strain, and will be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.
The move comes with Gordon in the midst of his best season as a pro. In 13 games, Gordon is averaging a career-high 18.8 points.

Gordon missed two of the team's last three games while battling a hamstring injury. Despite the issue, Gordon suited up for the Nuggets on Friday in a 112-109 win over the Houston Rockets. He played just over three minutes, scoring just one point.
The injury comes at a tough time for the Nuggets, who are already without guard Christian Braun, who is still over a month away from returning from a left ankle sprain.
Gordon, 30, has played a major role in the Nuggets getting out to a 12-4 start. He sits third on the team in points per game, trailing only Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray.
That record is good for second in the Western Conference, trailing only the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Nuggets finished fourth in the conference last season, falling to the Thunder in seven games during the Western Conference semifinals.
The Nuggets and Thunder have yet to play each other this season, with their first game schedule for Feb. 1. If they can avoid setbacks, it's possible both Braun and Gordon will be back for that contest.
