Rolex Rankings will add this U.S.-based women's tour in 2026
Changes are coming to the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings in 2026. The announcement comes in the lead-up to the 20th anniversary of the rankings and will take effect beginning with the Jan. 5 update.
First, a new tour is being added. Results from the Annika Women's All Pro Tour will be included in the rankings beginning with the Lake Charles Regional Sports Authority Championship next April. The WAPT marks the 13th tour added to the rankings and the first since the Thai LPGA in 2023. The developmental tour will have 13 events in 2026.
"I think it's amazing," Sorenstam told Golfweek. "I'm glad they recognized the quality of that tour and what they're doing, Gary [Deserrano] and the team. As you know, it's been elevated the last few years, and we're super proud to be part of it. … Good for them, another way for them to have a pathway to their dreams, really."
The top two finishers from each WAPT event receive exemptions into the Epson Tour. In addition, top finishers on the tour receive exemptions into LPGA Qualifying. Sorenstam announced an official partnership with the tour in 2023.
Other changes coming in 2026 include points for all players who make the cut in a ranked event, regardless of strength of field.
In addition, each strength of field will now have its own unique points distribution, as outlined in the release:
Previously, the points distribution was determined by what range the SOF fell into. For example, events with an SOF of 141-150 shared the same points distribution, while events with an SOF of 151-160 shared a different points distribution. Starting in 2026, each SOF (141, 142, 143, etc.) will have its own unique point distribution.
The Rolex Rankings launched in February 2006 with Annika Sorenstam as No. 1. The following tours will be included in 2026:
