Will Trinity Rodman be Ben Shelton’s good luck charm again in Texas
Last month, Trinity Rodman was in Dallas with Ben Shelton as he won the Dallas Open.
Rodman is again with the top seeded Shelton as he begins the US Men’s Clay Court Championships in Houston.
Shelton is playing singles and doubles (with former Florida Gator teammate Andres Andrade) in Houston this year. He won the singles title in 2024.

Shelton wins when Rodman is in the house
They are truly a sports power couple who support each other in person whenever their schedules allow it.
She even endures sweaty hugs when they accompany a win.
Rodman is beloved by the tennis fanbase and is often asked for pictures almost as much as her boyfriend is.

Can Ben Shelton win a Grand Slam in 2026?
As American tennis fans are painfully aware, a US man has not won a Grand Slam since Andy Roddick’s US Open win in 2003 when Ben was less than a year old.
Every year, we wait and wonder who can put an end to the drought. In 2026, Shelton seems like the most likely candidate to do it as Taylor Fritz is dealing with injuries, and he has advanced to the fourth round or better at each since 2023. He was a 2023 US Open and 2025 Australian Open semifinalist.
