Andrei Arlovski expects BKFC title fight vs. 'big motherf*cker' Ben Rothwell in Q1 of 2026

MIAMI – After fighting in 2008 and 2019, Andrei Arlovski expects one last dance vs. Ben Rothwell for the BKFC title in 2026.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Arlovski is in the final phase of his combat sports career and trying to make the most of it. He is signed to both BKFC and Dirty Boxing Championship, and could have title fights for both on the horizon.

Arlovski faced off with Jairzinho Rozenstruik at Saturday's DBX 3 event, but his attention is also firmly on Rothwell, whom he recently had a staredown with at a BKFC media event in anticipation of a showdown for the belt.

"It probably makes sense for BKFC –we fought in Affliction, UFC, and now it must be in BKFC," Arlovski told MMA Junkie. "I saw Ben right now, he's a big motherf*cker. He's like 350 pounds, and not fat, all muscles. He's dangerous."

Arlovski defeated Rothwell by third-round knockout at "Affliction: Banned" in July 2008 before winning a unanimous decision in the rematch at UFC on ESPN 4 in July 2019. Both men have experienced a lot since then, and now they will seemingly cross paths again.

Rothwell will be hungry for revenge, while Arlovski will look to make it 3-0 in their series and end his career on a high. First, however, Arlovski said they both have some business to handle.

"Ben is supposed to win his fight and I'm supposed to win my fight," Arlovski said. "Hopefully next year, around March or April, we'll fight for the title."
