Aryna Sabalenka has strengthened her grip on the women’s game with a win over Coco Gauff in the Miami Open final.

The victory completes the Sunshine Double and sends a clear message to her WTA rivals that she is only getting stronger.

Sabalenka, who now has three titles already this season, holds a 23-1 record in 2026 and now stands as a 24-time WTA champion.

Her only loss came against Elena Rybakina, but she’s bounced back by adding titles at Indian Wells and the Brisbane International to her tally.

The world number one took to social media after defending her Miami Open title to share her celebrations with fans.

Aryna Sabalenka shares a message to her fans after Miami Open win

Posting photos from her time in Miami, Sabalenka wrote on Instagram: “305 champ again.”

“The feeling of holding this trophy will never get old.

“This tournament will always be home to me.

“Thank you to my team and all of the fans supporting me along the way.

“I love you Miami!”

The 27-year-old now has 11 WTA 1000 titles under her belt.

Sabalenka shares her motivation after Miami Open win

It’s been a busy month for Sabalenka, who also defeated Elena Rybakina to win Indian Wells earlier in March.

And she has since spoken about the mindset that drives her to keep pushing forward, even as the accomplishments pile up.

She told the WTA website: “When I lost my father, I just set up a goal that I want to put our family name in history, and that’s been something that’s been pushing me so hard every day to work hard, to become a better player and I also become a better person.

“That’s my motivation, and also I would like to be an example of someone who has fun off the court, but also like super focused when I’m competing just to show… I feel this is the healthiest approach.”

This balance seems to be working well for Sabalenka. She clearly enjoys life away from tennis while staying committed on it. And it hasn’t hurt that she’s earned over $ 2.3 million in prize money during her recent run in the United States.

The clay-court season is coming up quickly now. Sabalenka will look to carry her strong form into a surface where she’s still building her legacy.
