Aryna Sabalenka may be a tough competitor on the court, but outside it, she knows how to let loose and enjoy the moment.
The top-ranked tennis star is gearing up for the Berlin Tennis Open and the highly anticipated 2025 Wimbledon Championships. As the grass-court season gets underway, the Belarusian powerhouse is preparing for her comeback after a heartbreaking loss in the French Open final.
Ahead of the upcoming matchup, she shared a rare glimpse of her practice routine. But instead of showing a thrilling hitting session, she revealed not just her accurate moves but also her playful side.
In an Instagram post, Sabalenka took to the grass court and, instead of directing the ball at her opponent, she aimed it at the recording phone — hitting it on her first try and showing off her pinpoint accuracy.
“Wanted to see how many tries it would take me to hit the phone… turns out it’s one,” she wrote.
The comment section was flooded with hilarious comments from fans, many of whom were amazed by her precision and sense of humor.
“Gurl I hope that wasn’t an iPhone,” one wrote.
“Aryna being Aryna,” a fan said.
The same stance was echoed by a different user who noted, “Aryna doing Aryna-things.”
Others also mentioned how they liked seeing her genuine personality on social media, especially her humor.
“Funniest player out there. Always spot on with the Target,” a commenter remarked.
“I just love Aryna even more these days for just being her,” a fifth user said.
“She’s #1 for a reason! Love this so much!” a follower chimed in.
Besides the No. 1 seed player, Naomi Osaka, Coco Gauff, Paula Badosa and Jessica Pegula are among the contenders in the women’s singles at the Berlin Tennis Open.
