Carson Sisler claims 65th Annual Platinum Coast title in Rockledge
Carson Sisler of Orlando captured the 2025 Platinum Coast Invitational on Sunday, Dec. 14, after firing a 1-over-par 72 in the final round and finishing the event at 1-under at Rockledge Country Club.
Sisler finished three strokes ahead of Eastern Florida State College player Nolan Hyatt (2-over), with EFSC's Horace Pennix finishing in third at 3-over for the 36 holes.
“Another steady round of golf by Carson today. He avoided any big mistakes and played steady golf, which made it difficult for anyone to catch him," said Rockledge PGA professional Matt Morrison. “The course was setup about as difficult as it could play with tricky hole locations and very fast greens. Finishing the event at 1-under-par is great playing.”
In the Senior Division, Bill Shufelt shot a final round 75 and edged out second place finisher Dave Leach. Finishing in third place was Daniel Getson.
In the Super Senior Division, Tommy Martin was the champion, with Gene Johnson finishing in second place.
Net division champions included Eric Smith in the Men’s and Jon Pike in the Senior division.
