Paul Hughes will return to action in April as he faces Jay Jay Wilson in the headline lightweight bout of the Professional Fighters League's second Belfast show at the SSE Arena.

The 16 April contest will be the County Derryman's first fight since his narrow points defeat in his rematch against Usman Nurmagomedov for the PFL world lightweight title in October.

The 28-year-old knocked Bruno Miranda out in 42 seconds in PFL's first Belfast show in May last year and his record stands at 14-3.

New Zealander Wilson, 28, has won 11 of his 13 professional fights, with his two defeats coming against the unbeaten Archie Colgan and Gadzhi Rabadanov.
