Jack Draper names his five best friends on the ATP Tour
Jack Draper’s long absence from the ATP Tour is set to end on Monday when he competes at the Dubai Tennis Championships.
For the majority of 2025, Draper was nursing a left arm injury, which resulted in him playing just one ATP match after the Wimbledon Championships.
Draper made his return to competitive play earlier this month, helping Great Britain advance at the Davis Cup.
He then withdrew from the Rotterdam Open, raising further concerns about the status of his arm.
However, he is finally set to end his long absence from the Tour when he plays Quentin Halys in Dubai.
Ahead of the event in the UAE, Draper was asked to name his best friends on the Tour.

In a video with the Dubai Tennis Championships, Draper identified three British players as his best friends on the Tour.
The British number one chose doubles star Lloyd Glasspool, British number three Jacob Fearnley and youngster Jack Pinnington Jones, who recently made his first ATP Tour quarter-final at the Dallas Open.
Draper also named two more best friends who hail from locations outside the UK: Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini.
Other notable ATP stars also revealed their best friends on the Tour.
Hubert Hurkacz chose Jannik Sinner and Grigor Dimitrov, while Felix Auger-Aliassime highlighted Denis Shapovalov, Gabriel Diallo and Alexis Galarneau.
Stan Wawrinka named Gael Monfils as his best friend, while Daniil Medvedev selected Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev.
Rublev chose Medvedev, Khachanov, Alexander Zverev, Sinner, and Carlos Alcaraz. Khachanov chose Rublev, Medvedev and Alexander Bublik.
Jannik Sinner said Jack Draper is one of his best friends on Tour
Speaking to The Telegraph ahead of his participation in the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, Sinner told reporters in London: “You’re lucky to have a player like him [Draper].
“After Andy [Murray], they need someone big. He [Draper] is someone big, and he’s someone who is going to stay there for a very, very long time.
“One of the best friends I have on the tour. We are quite similar in the way we make a lot of sacrifices to be the best we can.
“He came also, when I was banned. He came to Monaco to practise there, and everything was great. But now things are … are a bit different, because, you know, he’s No 4 in the world.”
