Keegan Bradley dubbed himself the perfect nickname during the Golf Channel Games

Golf Twitter can be a tough crowd to please, but judging by the early results, the inaugural Optum Golf Channel Games were a big success. In other words, Smylie Kaufman, who we had on the latest episode of The Loop podcast earlier this week, was right. As usual.

But while the 28-second(!) birdie made by Team Rory and the dramatic playoff chip-off between Rory McIlory and Scottie Scheffler (Scottie was closer by two inches to win the overall competition) drew most of the attention from Wednesday night's action, we'd like to focus on a highlight from Keegan Bradley.

The U.S. Ryder Cup captain, who won the return of the Skins Game in dominant fashion last month, chipped in on just his second attempt in the short-game challenge at Trump National Jupiter. Even better? He gave himself the perfect nickname in the moment. Have a look—and listen:

"I'm the King of Exhibition Golf," Bradley crowed in the clip. And who could argue after the past few weeks? Usually we frown upon people coming up with their own nicknames, but Bradley nailed it. Go on, King.

The guy has been absolutely racking up Silly Season dollars. And Keegan's kids are going to have an extra-great Christmas this year.
