Luke Rockhold: Tyron Woodley 'just sleep fighting these days'
Luke Rockhold doesn’t think Tyron Woodley has any fight left in him.
Former welterweight champion Woodley suffered a TKO loss to Anderson Silva in the ring last Friday at Kaseya Center in Miami. He is now 0-3 in boxing after losing four-straight fights in MMA.
Rockhold, a former UFC and Strikeforce middleweight champion, sees Woodley just going through the motions at this point.
“That was what I thought it would be,” Rockhold told Submission Radio. “Tyron’s not there to fight anymore. He’s not really conscious in fighting. Tyron’s still my boy but he’s just sleep fighting these days, you know what I mean? You have to be able to consciously see punches and throw punches, and he’s just not there in life anymore.”
Woodley hasn’t won a bout in combat sports since submitting Darren Till in September 2018 to retain his UFC welterweight title for the fourth time.
