“We all love each other so much,” Williams said to Vogue Weddings. “It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day.”
Williams met Preti, a Danish actor and model, in 2024 at Milan Fashion Week. Neither had initially anticipated attending the event.
“I was in Lake Como on a sisters’ trip when I got an invite at the last minute and decided to go on a whim, and Andrea was tired,” Williams told Vogue. “Neither of us was planning on being there.”
Preti introduced himself to Williams at the event, and they began messaging immediately. Williams then invited him to breakfast with her family soon after in London. The pair was engaged in January.
Serena Williams posted on Instagram to congratulate her sister on the big event.

At 45, Williams became the second-oldest woman to win a singles match on the WTA Tour in July. She is expected to play her 33rd straight season on the WTA Tour in 2026, starting with a January tournament in Auckland for which she has received a wild card entry.
In addition to her seven singles Grand Slam titles, Williams has won 14 women’s doubles Grand Slams alongside her sister. She also has two mixed doubles Grand Slam titles.
